MARINA B Pauline Sapphire Pearl Collar Earrings Suite

A magnificent set by Marina B that dates back to the 1980s, comprising a pearl choker necklace and matching earrings. The expandable necklace is set at the center with a large ceylon sapphire weighing approximately 26.25 carats. The exceptional sapphire is flanked by four onyx triangles and two pear shaped cabochon rubies in a larger pear shaped diamond surround, to the 5 row cultured pearl choker, with gold terminals, crafted in 18 karat gold. The ear clips are of a similar design, featuring two oval sapphires weighing approximately 10.50 and 9.30 carats. Marina B's distinctive designs play with the architectural contrast between geometric lines and soft curves, many times combining white diamonds with vibrant colored gemstones.

Velvety Ceylon sapphires

Necklace features Oval Modified Mix Cut Heated sapphire of Sri Lankan origin weighing approx. 26.25 carats. Expandable and flexible choker adjusts to most neck sizes; currently measuring approx. 1" in width and an inner circumference length of 11.5".

Ear clips feature Oval Modified Mix Cut sapphires of Sri Lankan origin with no gemological evidence of heat weighing approx. 10.50 carats and 9.30 carats. Measures approx. 1.40" in length by 1" in width and approx. 0.40" height off ear. Ear clips are currently for non-pierced ears, however posts can be added for pierced ears.

Made in France. Includes AGL Certificates, "750" hallmark, French assay marks. Both pieces in the suite Signed "Marina B"; circa 1980's.
